			WOOBURN, WITH WOOBURN GREEN, BONE END, AND CORES END, form a considerable parish, in the Hundred of Desborough, and diocese of Oxford, 3 miles from Beaconsfield, 4 miles from High Wycombe, 4 miles from Great Marlow, and 26 miles from London; containing, by the census of 1851, 2026 inhabitants; and 2850 acres of wood, arable, and pasture land. The Church, dedicated to St. Paul, is built of flint, and plastered over. The living is a vicarage, in the incumbency of the Rev. F. B. Ashley, M.A. The Baptists, Independents, Mormons, and Primitive and Wesleyan Methodists, have places of worship in the parish. There is, also, an Infant and National School. The latter was built about a a year ago, government giving £200 towards the cost of erection. The charities are of the annual value of £9.

			MARLOW LITTLE, OR LITTLE MARLOW, is a scattered village and parish, in the Hundred of Desborough, and union of Wycombe, 2.5 miles north-east of Great Marlow; containing, by the last census, 894 inhabitants; of whom 472 are males, and 422 females. The living is a vicarage, in the incumbency of the Rev. Richard Cattermole, M.A. The church, dedicated to St. John, is a plain building, with a square tower. The Wesleyans have a chapel at Flackwell Heath in this parish.

			HEDSOR is a small village and parish, situated in the Hundred of Desborough, and diocese of Oxford, 3 miles from Beaconsfield, 4 miles from Maidenhead, 4 miles from Great Marlow, and 6 miles from London; containing 190 inhabitants, by the census of 1841; and 183, by that of 1851: with 526 acres of wood, arable, and pasture land. The living is a rectory, in value £96, in the gift of Lord Boston, and incumbency of the Rev. John Youldon, M.A. The church, dedicated to St. Nicholas, is a small building, 45 feet long, by 18 feet broad. Lord Boston, who has a mansion here, is lord of the manor.
