1896 - built for 250 - 50 came from Wooburn Town School[1]
1896 - Mr Drewitt head
1896 - 1924 - Mr Thomas Bryant head of boys, Mrs Gertrude Bryant head of girls[1]
1936 - electric light added to each classroom[1]
1938 - Miss Dodd, Miss Beason, Miss Bennett, Miss Barber, Mrs Hargreaves, Charlie Bell[1]
1962 - Claytons County Junior[1]
1962 - Mr R Houghton head[1]
1970 - Claytons School moved to Wendover Road[2]
1970s - old school building used by Bourne End Junior Sports Club[2]
1978 - demolished bell tower moved to Wakeman Road car park and later to new Claytons School[1]
Headmaster's house is an osteopath[1]
